Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, one of Dubai's premier Spa providers is seeking an energetic and capable Spa Manager. Reporting to the Operations Manager, duties will include:

Ensuring that a high standard of customer care and treatment is delivered
Leading, motivating and directing the other employees
Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and procedures.
Effectively drive treatment delivery to meet, and where possible exceed, targets; drive the development of the Spa
Ensuring that the booking system is managed effectively
Maintenance and management of data base
Monitoring visitors and assisting with inquiries
Receiving and greeting visitors in an efficient, tactful and courteous manner
Ensuring that the highest standards are maintained within the spa and oversee the staff to ensure smooth running of operations
Developing and maintaining good relationships with guests
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Guiding technicians to acquire a thorough comprehension of client's needs, mistakes and misunderstanding to be eliminated
Assisting to maintain stock level
Total control of health & safety in the Spa area
Assisting supervisor/manager at staff meetings, or conduct meetings in absence of the manager
Performing all services to the highest quality for every guest
Ensuring the cleanliness of work stations and surrounding work areas
Ensuring that daily cleaning duties are observed
Providing coaching and counseling to staff members as needed with the guidance of the Operations manager
Taking payments, post charges, entering amounts into computer, and balance accounts at end of shift.
Overseeing the daily operation of the entire spa
Handling emergencies that arise when on duty alone, notifying appropriate personnel

Requirements

To apply for this position you must be a degree holder with at least three years relevant experience.

You must also have:
Supervisory experience
Excellent verbal and written skills.
The ability to show initiative and make decisions
Strong planning, customer service, organizational and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Proven leadership abilities and a professional, personable manner
Good team working skills
Enthusiasm and energy
The Ability to motivate self & others
Good time management
The ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
Flexibility with regards to work schedule and the ability to work when required
