Specialist Dermatology

Job description / Role

- Dermatologist are physicians who specialized in diagnosing and treating skin disorders, such as acne, fungal infections, rashes and warts.
- Recognize most skin diseases based on their appearance, distribution on the body and behaviour with time.
- Examines patients, effectively perform biopsies, and other diagnostic techniques of dermatology

Performs skin cancer surgery:
- Micrographic surgery and excisions. Laser surgery Photodynamic therapy (PDT)

Cosmetic procedures:
- Cultural peals
- Botulinum toxin (Botox)
- Soft tissue fillers
- Sclerotherapy

- Accurately interpret results, determines treatment plan, and discusses with patient in a helpful manner
- Interacts with the patient and family as a resource for health information and as a collaborator with other health care providers.
- Educates the patient, family and community by teaching not only medical information, but also techniques for preventing disability, coping mechanisms for chronic disorders, behavioral therapy for improving quality of life, medication regimes and rehabilitative functions.
- Readily maintaining patient confidentiality and impartiality.
- Holds clinic regularly.
- Attends departmental meetings regularly.
- Efficiently managing resources to service the targets as effectively as possible.
- Regularly participates in internal and external CME Programs; and develop a personal program of self study and professional growth.
- Must be well updated/oriented with regards to new treatment available in the respective field.]'
- Actively participate in Hospital committees and task forces as assigned by the department head.
- Continuously adhere to Al Noor Hospital Dress and Grooming Policy for medical professionals.
- Accept temporary duty assignments as directed by department head / Medical Director.

Requirements

- Masters Degree
- Minimum Fie (5) years experience
- Specialist knowledge: Cosmatology
- Soft Skills and Personality traits: Very good communication skills.
- Well versed with the use of computer.
- Gender Preference: Female
- Current Location: Anywhere
