Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Specialist ERP Systems Application provides high quality application support for Sidra ERP Systems that range from core ERP to Clinical Support and Education. Implements new designs/upgrades to existing systems. Works with ERP end users to document business processes and guide them through complex application functionality.

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Conducts job duties and responsibilities according to the organizations business systems development methodology and/or its Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
- Defines overall application functional/business requirements with ERP end users and recommends application modifications/configurations/processes for solutions to functional requirements.
- Implements, designs and/or upgrades ERP applications
- Creates test plans for projects.
- Analyzes model test discrepancies to find trends and works with programmers to resolve them. Establishes cost and time estimates for development/ implementation of projects.
- Produces business process flow charts.
- Creates communication plans (correspondence, presentations, and other materials) for knowledge transfer to leadership.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
- Guides end users through complex application functionality.
- Responds quickly and efficiently to any application related incident that is sent via help desk to the team
- Adheres to Sidras standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies

In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra during this pre-operational phase, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree Level Qualification in relevant field
- 3+ years of Lawson experience or 6+ years of relevant experience with other ERP applications in an Academic/Research Medical facility or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong knowledge of system development methodology, project management and system architecture
- Ability to strategically manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable with a dynamic, fast paced work environment
- Experience supporting solutions in hospital environment
- Proven experience in supporting mission critical applications
- Experience working and collaborating with Software support teams
- Expanding knowledge of related ERP disciplinary areas.
- Deep specialized knowledge in specific aspects of ERP discipline.
- Competent to work at a high technical level of most phases of systems analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Fluency in written and spoken English
