Job description / Role
Responsible for technical input relating to the electrical systems and plant safety systems.
Understands and promotes the concept of proactive safety, and takes personal responsibility to seek out "at risk" behaviors' and conditions in order to positively contribute to and meet the overall goal of zero incidents.
Provides Electrical Equipment Reliability expertise and advises others on equipment inspection requirements, establishes inspection frequency, coordinates condition monitoring inspection program, and most importantly, how to reduce our risk of accidents, injuries, and incidents.
Requirements
B.S. Engineering and 4+ years electrical equipment design, maintenance and reliability experience or High School Diploma and 8+ years in electrical equipment design, maintenance and reliability experience for refining or petrochemical process plants.
Skills:
Good communication skills, strong technical, troubleshooting, and analytical skills, ability to analyze electrical inspection data, and develop corrective action recommendations and implementation plans, Be a self starter with solid planning and organizational skills, ability to resolve conflicts with other functional groups and reach agreements.
Experience with project construction or major process turnarounds.
