Specialist - HICT (AV)

The HICT Specialist is a Subject Area Expert expected to provide domain-cross-functional technical and business support to different systems/projects. Assists, and collaborates support related to HMC system requirements. Coordinates activities and compile accurate and reliable system documentation. Provides quality support with a high degree of user satisfaction, technical expertise and timeliness.
Key tasks are to follow:
-Lead and manage the PACS and Medical Devices Connectivity workstream.
-Work closely with the EPA equipment planning team to understand the scale and scope of the connectivity required for medical devices.
-Work closely with the Bio-Medical Engineering team and to understand any medical device connectivity and systems to be incorporated in to the installation plans.
-Work closely with the Imaging Department to ensure they are fully integrated with this workstream.
-Work closely with the MC RIS/PACS Programme Manager to ensure all connectivity and commissioning activities for Imaging equipment is included in the Medical Device Connectivity plan.
-Work closely with the ICT Manager – Client Account (Cerner Implementation in Medical City) to understand any Cerner requirements for each medical device to be connected to the network.
-Produce a comprehensive Medical Device Connectivity Plan that details each piece of medical equipment that requires a network connection and provides all the relevant configuration information, including IP addresses.
-Provide a Checkpoint Report to the ICT Manager – Client Account (MC Commissioning) every two weeks.
-Work with any vendors providing installation and commissioning services for medical devices and the RIS/PACS system to ensure any ICT requirements are delivered.
-Develop a Commissioning and User Acceptance Test Plan for the installed medical equipment including connectivity to Cerner and potentially other applications.
-There should be a sign off for each medical device.
-Develop and agree a handover process with HIS Operations and the Bio-medical Engineering team.

Requirements
Ideally, you will have the following:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related field required
-8 years HICT experience required with at least 5 years providing cross system implementation/maintenance support applying latest methodologies and technologies.
-Experience with network installations (with testing knowledge) and vast knowledge in medical device
