Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- A pediatrician examines, diagnoses and treats diseases and injuries of infants/children extending into young adulthood, dealing with all aspects of child's physical and emotional development and well-being, including the treatment of diseases and disabilities
- Advise patients, parents or guardians concerning diet, activity, hygiene and disease prevention.
- Collect, record and maintain patient information such as medical history reports and examination results.
- Examine children regularly to assess their growth and development.
- Examine patients or order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests to obtain information on medical condition and determine diagnosis.
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and parents or guardians.
- Monitor patients condition and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
- Plan and execute medical care programs to aid in the mental and physical growth and development of children
- Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury in infants and children.
- Refer patient to medical specialist or other practitioner when necessary
- Take reasonable care of your own health and safety;
- Take reasonable care of the health and safety of persons and the environment that may be affected by your acts or omissions at work;
- Cooperate with Hospital Management with respect to any action taken by the Al Noor Hospital management to comply with EHSMS requirements.
- Report to your immediate supervisor any situation which could present a hazard and which they you cannot themselves correct;
- Report all EHS incidents and work-related injuries; and notify supervisor or department safety representative/coordinator of any hazards, mishaps or incident reporting procedure.
- Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided at the workplace in the interest of health, safety, welfare or protection or management of environment
- Familiarize yourself with all EHSMS policies, standards and procedures that are relevant for your workplace and ensure compliance with all its requirements
- Attend departmental safety training (where applicable) and follow EHSMS policies and procedures.

Requirements

- Masters Degree
- Minimum of Five (5) Years of experience in hospital of clinical setting.
- Specialist knowledge: Pediatric.
- Soft Skills and Personality traits: Very good communication Skills.
- Well versed with the use of Computers.
- Current Location: Anywhere
