Job description / Role
UPANDRUNNING Integrated Sports Medical Centre is expanding and requires two more Sports and Exercise Medicine Specialist registered doctors to join the team. They would be core members of our fully integrated team, representing one of the most dynamic clinics in Dubai.
Job description:
- Full time position
- 40 clinical contact hours per week
- To diagnose, treat, investigate, manage and triage any musculoskeletal complaints
- Performing fitness assessments/medicals
- Limited externally contracted visits 8 additional flexible hours
- Service development
- Administration
- Attendance at clinic meetings, clinical education sessions
- Support, teach, train and educate staff, colleagues and students
- Covering high profile sporting events
- To liaise and network with specialists and other therapists within the region and internationally

Leave allocation:
- 4 weeks holiday

Professional requirements:
- Fellow of a Faculty of a Sports and Exercise Medicine College and more than 4 years of specialist training thereafter
- A diploma or MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine acceptable if fully qualified General Practitioner/Physician or equivalent CCST with more than 4 years of experience post Sports Medicine training
Preferred requirements:
- Experience in Diagnostic Ultrasound Scanning
- Experience in Ultrasound Guided Minimally Invasive Procedures
- Previous experience working with teams and at sporting events
- Trainer or educator with experience in lecturing and presenting
- High level of experience in a particular sport as athlete or covering clinician
- Experience in performance testing
- Managerial skills
- Previous experience in developing new service lines
Contract summary:
- Start date late 2014- early 2015
- Minimum of a 3 year contract with a view to extend
- Basic monthly salary with monthly percentage incentive
