Job description / Role
are looking for an excellent Specification Writer with experience in supporting systems including electrical, water and wastewater, pneumatie, elevators, HVAC, lighting, infrastructure such as bridges, tunnels, roads, storm water drainage, culverts and boxes program of a city.
You will be involved in Operations & Maintenance documents submittal review and approval coordination, project records, preparation of work or job orders.
Checking of interim claims and its recommendations to Jeddah Municipality and settling of final accounts and close-out documents for the multiple O & M project/s or contracts signed between the Municipality and Contractors / Consultants.
Min of 12 yrs direct work experience in preparing O&M request for proposals (RFP) and specifications writing for city O&M works which includes single-story offices to multi-story office and support system including electrical, water, and wastewater, pneumatic, elevators. HVAC, lighting, infrastructure such as bridges, roads, tunnels, storm water drainage, culverts and boxes.
Requirements
12+ years direct experience preparing O&M request for proposals (RFP’s) and specifications writing for city council or municipalities in the US/UK/Canada or Australia related to O&M contractors or consultants.
Specifications experience must also include infrastructure projects such as bridges, roads, tunnels, storm water drainage, culverts and boxes program of a city.
Bachelors of Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University
Professional Engineering License
PMP Certification
Master's degree of Science in Civil Eng'g from top recognized University PE Eng license and PMP certified
