Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:

• Lead, plan, direct and control all the activities in the IT Corporate Applications division for development and delivery of IT services to meet business needs.
• Ensure committed portfolio of projects and services are delivered within agreed constraints.

Duties:

Functional Duties:
• Deep experience with SAP application support and development; expert-level experience in three or more SAP modules
• Knowledge of SAP Centre of Excellence management and processes
• Collaborate with the business on project ideation and drive delivery of new technical capabilities.
• Highly experienced at vendor and contract management in an outsourced environment.
• Ensure stable, ongoing configuration, break/fix support and maintenance for all supported systems and services.
• Ensure that transitioned and developed services meet Operational and Service Level Requirements, and are measurable and monitored.
• Provide input on the department’s annual budget requirements. As assigned, manage division or program/project budgets and financial reporting.
• Ensure response to business demand for reporting & analytics and Master Data Management (material, customer and vendor coding)
• Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/ manager.

Managerial Duties:
• Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by Division staff.
• Ensure all tasks and activities are performed in accordance with Sadara’s policies and procedures.
• Assess the current skill set of employees and identify the need for development programs.
• Highly experienced at motivating, coaching, developing and supporting employees.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration or any related field.
• Deep technical SAP expertise and business process experience, and a good understanding of relevant Chemical business processes and systems.
• High commitment to meet business needs as well as Service and Operational Level requirements
• Experience of working with multiple third party vendors
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Participated on 3 SAP Project cycle implementation and Project Manager for 2 SAP full cycle implementations.
• 6+ years of experience in SAP Application Development and Support
• 10+ years of management experience
