Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

ROLE PURPOSE :-
Provides proactive support to the GM and employees on a range of Human Resources (HR) Management related issues to improve performance and enable sustained growth by establishing and implementing appropriate HR practices. Work closely with the HRBP to ensure the prompt and appropriate delivery of Human Resources services, plans and programmes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :-
- Plans and conducts new joiner induction and orientation program to enable a smooth transition into the work environment.
- Identifies and analyzes training needs in support of performance enhancement and skill development, while monitoring and coordinating all training activities for the organization.
- Works with the HR Assistant to maintain the Employee database to ensure correct recording of all staff and employment related information as required.
- Generates and provides reports as required by the HRBP and/or GM.
- Under the guidance of the HRBP, supports change initiatives in line with business strategy through well thought out programmes, organisation-wide communication and employee involvement.
- Assists the HRBP in preparing and updating the HR Policy & Procedure Manuals to reflect desired practices and implement these in a judicious and transparent manner.
- Assists the HRBP in implementing Performance Management Systems in line with Al Ghurair Group guidelines and provide support with the administration of the review process

Requirements

Qualifications, Certificate, Licence:-
- Formal qualifications in HR Management or Business Management. CIPD or PHRM certification preferred.

Experience, Years & Type:-
- Minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience within a manufacturing environment: Human Resources Management, Talent management and development.

Skills: Technical / Other Relevant:-
- Knowledge of HR operations and the UAE labor laws.
- Ability to handle a wide range of employee relations issues.
- Knowledge of skill assessment practices.
- Knowledge of succession planning & career development.
- In depth knowledge of the performance management systems and TNA.

Computer Skills:-
- MS Office, with advanced Excel or MS Access.

Language skills (Basic/Fluent/Native)
- English
- Hindi / Urdu
- Arabic
