Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reviews and authorises the Material Discrepancy Reports (MDR) for all materials received and transmits to Head of Division for approval.
Responsible for the compilation and maintenance of technical materials catalogue database in accordance with International Standards.
Provides expertise in the segregating of non-proprietary items from supplier list for
Standardisation and Generalisation and coding.
Manages the SAP Materials Module as per business requirements with Active participation in system development activities for new modules.
Manages the Equipment Master Data in SAP from the Bill of Materials for all the Nakilat and JV owned LNG and LPG Vessels with an emphasis on the pooling agreement materials.
Populates and Provides Management and user departments with valid reports from SAP for business requirements and warehouse budgets with an emphasis on the pooling agreement.

Requirements

A university Degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical Engineering
7 years experience in Materials cataloging in Shipbuilding or Oil and Gas application at a supervisory level and hands-on Maintenance/Engineering discipline
Strong SAP user ( PM & MM)
Marine spares / LNG spare is preferred
