Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Senior Processor will undertake processing activities, within established policies and procedures, to support the work accomplishment of the Remittances Unit. Distribute and supervise the work programmes for Assistant processors as per the direction of Team Leader ensuring the smooth work flow processes and compliance with service standards.

* Learn and gain general awareness about the function specific processes and procedures to build up capabilities and ensure preparedness to discharge assigned responsibilities.
* Distribute and supervise the work programmes for reporting staff as per the direction of the processing Officer ensuring the quality and timely completion of the processes assigned to them.
* Process all outward payments transactions as per agreed SLA and achieve TAT. Prioritize Central Bank payments/positions before cut-off time, enhance STP rate to minimize repair cost and increase Swift standards and identify and support automation of manual jobs for smooth functioning of the Unit.
* Submit Branches Error Reports every last Saturday of the month to Unit Head and minimize rework rate. Respond to customers' complaints, resolve minor issues and escalate unresolved issues to the higher Levels, as per the established procedures, to ensure that customer-based operational issues are tackled expeditiously.
* Register, process, and post the applications for various services and obtain approval from higher Level before filing the office copy and releasing the document to fulfill the commitments of the Units.
* Act as point of operational contact for customers in the Branch and Head Office for providing basic level headline information on various services ensuring that all enquiries are handled expeditiously.
* Prepare end-of-the-day report to update the Unit Head on the status of the work completed and also for future reference. Check and maintain the security documents & office supplies ensuring save custody and replenishment.
* Take active interest to build skills and develop self to hold higher responsibilities.

Requirements

* Bachelors Degree in a Finance discipline.
* Computer Literate
* 2-3 years finance experience in banking in the Credit function preferred.
* Written and spoken English - Arabic preferable.
* Good interpersonal and negotiating skills.
