Sr. Quantity Surveyor - ASPIRE LOGISTICS

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the respective team (Quantity Surveyor) by providing expertise and encouraging and ensuring teamwork in order to achieve high performance standards and ensure employee engagement in a motivated work environment.
• Monitor and ensure the on-going development and implementation of the performance management system in order to ensure subordinates’ awareness of respective accountabilities and level of actual achievement against these accountabilities so that subordinate performance can be optimized.
• Identify the commercial and contractual risks of each project in order to enable the achievement of project revenues and business objectives.

• To draw up bills of quantities for projects in order to facilitate progress valuation and cost control and to contribute to the overseeing of the schedule of works to be completed in order to ensure alignment with budget and contractual agreements.
• Monitor the project budget performance to identify areas of shortfall and propose corrective action to ensure actual expenditure is controlled within the agreed budget.
• Prepare the bill of quantities in accordance with established codes of measurement and conditions of contract provisions to be used during the project implementation phase for valuation and cost control purposes.
• Receive interim monthly payment applications from project managers, review and check for accuracy and accordingly make payment recommendation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Quantity Surveying Diploma advantage.
• 4 years of related experience of which a minimum of 2 years should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry.
