Job description / Role
ABOUT CLIENT:
An established leading South Eatt based National Oil Company with a number of productive oil fields.
JOB PURPOSE & SCOPE:
1. Establishes and implements HSE Technical Safety strategy, framework and scope through risk-based approach, taking into consideration the Mandatory Control Framework, Technical Safety performance gaps, process MAH risks of the business, Host Country HSE regulatory requirement, JV partners consideration, to ensure the technical integrity of the safety critical elements which safeguard people, environment, assets, reputation and confidence of the Company's stakeholders.
2. Establishes and leads the implementation of the various Technical Safety Guidelines for the Company's global operations including for Contractors.
3. Evaluates the adequacy of each Technical Safety guideline, its requirements, and implementation at worksite through the rigorous execution of Technical Safety strategy and review etc., throughout the Company's global operations.
4. Drives to analyze and classify all Technical Safety findings based on the HSE risk matrix, identify root causes, formulate intervention strategies and review intervention plans to strengthen HSE controls (covering system, procedural and engineering controls) of the workplace audited.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor'S Degree in Engineering or Physical Science.
2. Preferably to have minimum 15 years working experience in oil and gas industry.
3. Must have analytical thinking since the nature of job is dealing with identifying HSE risks and mitigation measures to close gaps.
