Stakeholder Manager

Job description / Role

Objective: To provide support to the Project Management Team.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Understanding the business drivers and ensuring that the project fits with the strategy for their area of the business
2. Providing detailed requirements and a financial plan
3. Committing the necessary resources.
4. Taking ownership of appropriate deliverables
5. Keeping abreast of project progress and cascading information to others who need to know.
6. Establish the training and support requirements.
7. Identifying and resolving any project issues and risks, especially those associated with managing change during the transition phase.
8. Communicating throughout the life of the project.

Requirements

* Must have a bachelor degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
* A minimum 15 years' experience In transportation projects especially rail.
* Knowledge of public transport issues and structures is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
* Excellent relationship building and influencing skills.
