Stakeholder Manager

Job description / Role

We need someone who is a fluent English and Arabic speaker who understand how to communicate with the local agencies to obtain/facilitate the attainment of construction permits.

The individual must also be knowledgeable with monitoring techniques.

The Stakeholder Management will be the primary contact with all external parties and will meet, discuss and understand their needs and issues and manage their expectations with regards to the various public transport projects making up the Program.

He will be responsible for managing interfaces and ensuring that approvals and permits are sought and obtained for all aspects of the Program.

The individual should be familiar with regulatory procedures and approvals, inter-agency coordination and approvals, developer interface coordination and resolution and management of issues related to public outreach and public relations.

He/ she will be expected to work closely with various Transport Departments, other Government departments including military, national security departments, Civil Defense and utility providers and is expected to possess exceptional communication skills and be capable of managing/directing their team of Stakeholder Engineers and liaise well with the client and contractor.

Requirements

Degree educated with a Bachelors in a Construction Industry related field.

Minimum experience: 15 years post graduate

Experience in dealing with Qatari Public Bodies is vital.

Strong communication skills both written and verbal is a must as well as a professional look due to the role involving a high level of 3rd party meetings.
