Stationary Engineer/Reliability Engineer (Polymer and Monomer/Acrylic)
Analyze engineering design, performance of the plant performance systems and its components, especially of stationary, rotating, E&I systems to recommend design or operating methods to achieve optimal operational reliability using knowledge or reliability engineering and other technologies. Provides reliability engineering assistance to operational, maintenance and engineering staff. Analyze as built plans and develops reliability engineering program to achieve plant operating reliability objectives. Analyze projected production and maintenance plans and recommends cumulative effect on final system reliability of individual element reliabilities. Observe system performance, conduct test on system components (stationary, rotating and E&I) and individual components to evaluate reliability factors, such as numbers and causes of unit failures. Monitors failure data generated by tests and analyze all advises operation, maintenance and engineering staff. Determine units requiring environmental testing and specifies minimum number of samples to obtain statistically valid data. Prepare failure mode and effect analysis reports to identify unit posing excessive failure risks and support proposed changes in design. Advises and confers with engineers in operations, maintenance and engineering department in design review meetings to give reliability findings and recommendations. Prepares special studies and reports as requested by the section/department head. Provides reliability support to cross functional to resolve plan equipment and system problems in order to resolve issues.
BS degree in Instrumentation / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Having a complete understanding and the ability to set up monitoring studies. Experience in DOE/design of experiment Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode Effect and Analysis (FMEA) and other similar techniques.
