Steel Trader - Male (to West Africa Region)
Competitive Salary
On behalf of our client, one of the largest steel product producers in the world, we are looking to recruit a Trader - West Africa to be responsible for the sales of company's own mill's products into the West Africa region.
You will be expected to attend to customer's on-going requirements and maintain constant touch with them. You aim is to expand the customer base and market share in all markets within West Africa. You will be based in Dubai, but required to travel frequently.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have excellent track record in sales, preferable in the trading of cold-rolled and pre-painted steel products. If you dont have this specific steel sales experience, candidates that have been trading other Long or Flat Steel products can be considered but ideally you will have some experience in the African markets.
You must be able and willing to travel to the assigned region in Africa and have the fundamental understanding of contractual terms, letters of credits and shipping documents etc. Excellent communication skills in English & French essential. You should possess good interpersonal and customer service skills and be driven by results.
