Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

On behalf of our client a European multinational company with worldwide trading and steel manufacturing activities requires, for their branch office in Saudi Arabia, an experienced Business Development Manager.

Location: Dammam / Riyadh / Jeddah to be decided after mutual agreement.

Must have a minimum of 5 - 8 years experience in the international trading of HRC , HRP, CRC, CRP, CRS and Long Products.

Fluency in English is a must and Arabic would be preferable.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have experience in the sales of Hot Rolled Coils, Cold Rolled Coils, Wire Rods, Boiler grade and commercial grade plates. Sourcing from India, China, Ukraine, Turkey and our own mills.

Please make sure you include the steel products you have sold on your cv or you will not be shortlisted.

- A proven background in business development / sales is a must.
- Strong presentation skills is essential in the role.
- Meet clients for new enquiries and travel within the country if necessary.
- Will need to have strong market research and analysis skills to be well informed about price / buying trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to cold call potential clients with confidence .
- Skilled at agreeing and closing deals with clients independently and must be self - motivated.
- Must be able to operate Microsoft Office and associated programs.
- Extensive Saudi travel and market knowledge will be required.
- Managing and updating own business development contacts.
- Experience as a Steel Trader is a must.

- Knowledge of Arabic is preferred
- Family visa status will be provided.
- Reporting to The General Manager, Dubai Branch.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are already based in Saudi.
