Our client is a global leader in wireless distribution and experts in Service Value Chain providing sustainable, dynamic and cost effective solutions to their customers across the globe. Due to a drive in increasing their headcount for their Dubai and India offices they are seeking a Technical Architect specializing in Sterling Integration for their offices in Dubai.
Main responsibilities for this role include developing and maintaining innovative & cost effective solutions for our client’s customers by working with the Business Analyst to map the requirements to an architecture and implementation plan, consulting the Solution Architecture and technical artifacts as input to the final report & presentation and designing and guiding the development team on application architecture.
Requirements
To apply for this role candidates must be Degree educated in Computer Science or a relative field and have at least 10 years experience understanding and developing in the EDI - Electronic Data Interchange, GIS - Gentran Integration Suite and SI - Sterling Integrator fields.
Essential skills for this role include a deep and proficient understanding of BPM and SOA spaces with hands on experience, extensive knowledge and experience on J2EE solution design and development, thorough knowledge of related frameworks like Struts, Spring, Hibernate and Acegis with strong concepts in Object Oriented design patterns.
You will be required to have experience in EDI ANSI X12, XML - OAGI standards, sufficient formal and/or informal training in GIS system administration, maintenance, installation, configuration, tuning and programming with training in BPML design, data translation and transformation mapping.
To apply for this opportunity all candidates must be Degree educated with broad understating of common enterprise infrastructure environments, XML & Web Services, UNIX and Windows proficiency and experience in multi-tier software development based on J2EE, SOA architecture. You will possess good interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to learn new processes quickly, absorb and retain information, the ability to work independently or part of a team and be able to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines and you should be open to travelling and staying onsite for long periods.
