The Role


The Role


As a Stock Room Assistant you are responsible for Store Administration, is responsible for receiving, put-away, picking & dispatch of merchandise in a speedy but accurate manner. Ensure that work areas are clean & tidy & observe safety & security regulations
Ensure that the daily stock room operations are carried out efficiently & accurately.
Accurately receive & dispatch all merchandise, through reconciliation of all delivers against transfer / invoice documentation according to Company Policy & Procedure.
Unload delivery van & check off delivery notes, complete discrepancy reports for warehouse, complete excess / damage stock forms, & load onto delivery van.
Hang stock on correct hanger.
Prepare the stock ready for selection to go onto shop floor.
Place all remaining stock in the stock room in correct area.
Ensure that all work-areas are clean & well maintained.
Ensure all Health & Safety Procedures are followed.
Ensure that garment care is carried out allowing the product to reach the sales floor in the best possible condition.

Requirements


Requirements


Fluent written and spoken English
Ability to run the show on the shop floor everyday.
Good communication skills and the ability to cooperate freely in a fast-paced environment because that's how things are on the shop floor.
Ability to take in everything that happens around you to run the floor at its maximum potential. All Alshaya employees are entitled to 30% staff discount on all Alshaya retail stores.
