The RoleThe RoleTo arrange stocking of merchandise to facilitate receipt and issuance of goods in an accurate and timely manner enabling prompt placement of requisite merchandise on the shop floor. Principal Accountabilities: * Receive the goods from the warehouse, physically count them and verify with the invoice. * Report any damages /losses to the warehouse team and Store Manager. * Arrange for storage of the goods as per brand guidelines in an organized and efficient manner. * Issue the goods to the sales floor to ensure availability to maximize sales. * Assemble the items as required prior to customer collection. * Carry out minor repairs on the products. * Conduct regular stock checks as per the statutory requirements of audit. * Ensure that all housekeeping, safety, security and health care measures are followed inside the store to avoid any accidents. |
RequirementsRequirements2 - 3 years experience in stores or any tertiary level qualification in stores or inventory management Attention to details and a confident personality High/ Intermediate school. Computer literate |
