The Role


The Role


• Recruit, develop, motivate and coach the Store Management teams to ensure store sales are maximised; costs are managed and staff are motivated.

• Drive the development of company policies, plans and procedures with the key function leaders and ensure the implementation of same across all stores.

• Coach, guide and motivate departments in continuously achieving, excelling and developing the business locally and nationally.

• Ensure store audit comments are met and that each department is maximising its sales potential and profitability.

• Develop recommendations from other store visits and interactions to improve own store and group performance.

• Communicate company policy to the departments and ensure feedback is filtered through to the relevant channels.

• Enforce safety, health, and security rules.

• Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised.

• Plan budgets and authorize payments and merchandise returns.
