Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Assets

-Ensure the proper conservation, utilization and profitability of the Companys assets.
-Ensure timely provision of 1st level support for all systems in the store.
-Ensure that IT daily backup is performed and completed according to DOSI procedure.
-Maintain integrity of users accounts and data on the store file server.
-Ensure the store documentation is in line with the company standards.
-Update and check the store hardware and license inventory quarterly.
-Update and check the store system users lists quarterly.
-Ensure off-site storage of weekly tapes.
-Perform POS user maintenance when needed (as per DOSI procedure).
-Ensure that the suppliers respect the service level agreement of all IT maintenance contracts.
-Participate to the implementation of new IT projects and take ownership of them.
-Guarantee the quality, the application and protection of Companys Know-How.
-Guarantee the confidentiality of all company data.
-Respect and enforce the security and safety procedures.
-Guarantee that the information provided by the systems is accurate, timely and usable.
Draw a yearly action plan for the department according to the priorities of the store and follow-up its implementation.
-Maintain professional, impartial and efficient relationships with suppliers and partners.
-Report any action that might interfere with the proper functioning of the Company.

Human Resources

-Be a model of application of the MAF-Carrefour management system and Company corporate policies.
-Promote and practice communication and participatory management within the team.
-Practice & guarantee the respect of MAF-Carrefours values: Freedom, Responsibility, Sharing, Respect, Integrity, Solidarity and Progress.
-Ensure the respect of labor laws, the rules and cultural practices of the country.
-Ensure synergy with other departments and Head Office.
-Ensure the participation of the team in the quest for enhancement of working conditions and productivity.
Carry out performance analysis and negotiate the particular objectives, once a year, with the members of the team.
-Identify employees with high potential and growth in the Company, and propose their career development plan.
-Elaborate, execute and follow up the department training plan.
-Guarantee and manage the application of IT training in the store.
-Ensure the circulation of information within the hierarchy.

Merchandize

-Ensure stability of the systems and communications to avoid any downtime in the operations.
-Ensure minimal delay in all recovery procedures in order to minimize the impact on operations.
-Develop retail awareness in order to provide results that are in line with the business.
-Ensure implementation and smooth running of IT standard management.
-Control integrity of data between back-office, front office and scales systems.
-Propose and implement action plans in order to increase productivity, performance and effectiveness of the operations.
-Organize store IT purchases according to DOA. Test hardware and software on delivery.
-Maintain an optimal stock level for IT consumables and spare parts.
-Report any action that might interfere with the proper functioning of the Company.
-Ensure the circulation of information within the hierarchy.

Finance

-Propose and take necessary measures towards reduction of the distribution costs.
-Respect and guarantee the respect of procedures in accordance with the DOA.
-Participate to the elaboration of the store IT budget.
-Ensure the respect of budget/ forecast and take corrective measures when necessary.
-Dispose of old defective peripherals according to company procedures.
-Report any information that might affect the results of the Company

Requirements

-Fluency in English & Russian is obligatory
-UNIVERSITY GRADUATED
-Three years experience in Hypermarkets/Supermarkets/Retail
-Well organized
-Good IT and network experience
-Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
-Ability to work under pressure;
-High Sense of responsibility;
-High ability to solve complex problem in a prompt and effective manner;
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
-Team Player
