Employment: Full Time

Al-Futtaim represents some of the world's most popular and desirable automotive brands including; Toyota, Lexus, Hino, Honda, Volvo, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge.The Storekeeper acts as a team/floor leader who directs his subordinates in receiving, issuing, storage and inventory control.
The Storekeeper will be responsible for the following:

On-time processing and dispatch of orders with accordance to the cut-off timings.
Direct team members in performing their tasks correctly.
Lead the team in maintaining the cleanliness of workplace.
Performs warehousing and store keeping tasks to include acquiring, receiving, identifying, handling, storing, issuing and delivering a wide variety of parts in a computerized system.

Guides and instructs Store personnel in warehousing and store keeping procedures, material identification, handling and storage, work and safety methods, daily tasks to be performed, equipment operation, record keeping, and other related matters.

Conduct daily meeting to discuss issues related to warehouse activities with his team.

Identify bins that need to be replenished and update system accordingly.

Receive shipments, log into inventory, maintain inventory through audits.

Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues.

Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in workplace.

Present a neat and professional image.

Assist in keeping facility secure.

Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.

Follow company policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful in winning this role, you must display the following education, experience and skills:

Minimum Secondary School graduate
Minimum 3-5 years in similar position
SAP and computer skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail
Strong leadership quality.
Recognizes and understands part numbers and alpha/numeric codes
Understands basic inventory, warehousing and stocking procedures.
Able to work independently with some direction.
Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures.
Comfortable in fast-paced environment.
Able to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.
Able to multi-task.
Stand/walk for duration of work hours.
Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 30 lbs).
