Employment: Full Time

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a large aerospace company located in the United Arab Emirates. Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Storekeeper professional (with a proven track record in stock management).

The Store Keeper will be responsible for over-all Stock management, perform reliable processes and activities with procedural adherence related with the receiving, inspection and store affairs to meet the operation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Physical receiving for spares/ external unit/ consumables/ tooling & equipment in accordance with related logistics procedures. (Inspection and verification with Purchase Order and the physical component received)
• Control consumables store, quarantine stores and bonded store
• Serve as primary focal point for resolving receiving discrepancies, inspection issues, and invoice matching hold problems.
• Advise the Quality/HSE Manager and Materials In-Charge immediately if any discrepancy is detected in stock management which is quality related, in order to enable corrective action to be taken as required.
• Assist in monitoring physical stock quantities using cycle counts etc. to detect any discrepancies between indicated inventory holdings and physical stock and report significant discrepancies to the Materials In charge
• Daily operation for in-stock and out-stock and prepare job materials list.
• Assist/support in ensuring that stock levels and forward provisioning requirements are adequate to meet the turnaround time requirements of customers and users
• Issuance of spares, part and chemicals from chemical stores cabinet to users for repair activities
• Maintain appropriate filing and storage of paper work for audit trails
• Manage time effectively to accomplish what needs to get done.

Requirements

Skills Required:

• Diploma holder or above with atleast 2 years experience in logistics field, knowledge of MRP2 and stores management is preferred
• Self-starter, excellent negotiation and communication skill
• Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of SAP is a must
• Knowledge of supply chain management and/or engineering and purchasing and materials control experience/exposure.
• Knowledge about release certificates / COCs, shelf life calculations.
• Knowledge of purchasing and accounting processes.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in a business/manufacturing environment
• Proficient in the use of computer applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, etc.
• Should ideally have been a Quality Inspector
• Understanding of the aircraft industry to include some technical understanding of the components preferred
