Store Manager - Billabong - Al Nakheel, Riyadh - Saudi Arabia

JOB PURPOSE
To manage the store and ensure that the sales and profits are maximised and the Company and Franchisor's standards are exceeded. To provide direction of the store through leadership, motivation & effective communication.

JOB PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES and JOB CONTENT

Sales and Commercial:
The Job Holder (JH) is responsible for the total budgeted sales of the store. The JH manages frequency and volumes of deliveries according to peaks. The JH ensures that there is adequate stock especially of the top sellers. The JH will liaise with / provide feedback where necessary to the Senior Merchandisers regarding the product variety/quality and ordering levels.

Customer Service:
The JH will be required to ensure that at all time and in all areas of operation the highest standards of customer service are achieved and expected as the norm. This will reflect in the subordinates's product knowledge as well as the manner in which they deal with customers. The JH will liase with the HR Manager to ensure adequate training. The JH will also be required to set up a method of tracking service levels against competitors.

Logistics:
The JH will interact with the logistics company to organise delivery from warehouse and also organise home delivery of equipments according to company policies & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Visual merchandising & Display
The JH ensures an eye catching; effective display is maintained within the Store. All new promotional activity requiring changes to display should be carefully planned and coordinated to ensure minimum amount of disruption to Store operations. The JH will maintain the brand integrity through corporate display standards. The JH will be responsible for ensuring the display reflects and supports the product suitability for the promotional calendar.

Human Resource Management:
The JH with the assistance of the HR Manager will assist with recruitment, where required. The JH will give full support to the HR Manager to ensure that all employees are fully trained and developed to a required standard to ensure effective staffing and the levels of internal and external customer service are maintained. The JH will consult with his management team in order to identify candidates with career growth potential and will initiate advancement for those candidates through the correct channels. The JH will be the leader in establishing an environment where effective teamwork is considered a normal part of the daily routine, where respect and cooperation are achieved.

Monitoring and Control:
Through weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings the JH along with his management team will review results and make decisions on corrective action. Through delegation and supervision the JH will be ultimately responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and will initiate an investigation where required if any deviance from policy is found. The JH will be responsible for ensuring his teams develop self- checking as a normal part of their daily routine.

Deployment of Resources:
The JH will be required to oversee the deployment of resources and to constantly challenge his team to utilise all resources to the maximum effectiveness.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate with knowledge of Computers
Skills: Core management and commercial skills.
Experience: (required for the job) 5 years of experience.
