Store Manager - Guess Accessories - City Stars - Cairo, Egypt

With over 70 stores located around the GCC this is a great opportunity to become part of a dynamic work environment and get involved in the expansion and future growth of this exciting brand.We are currently seeking to hire a Store Manager for Guess Accessories City Stars - Cairo, Egypt

As a Store Manager you will be accountable for sales performance, focusing on growth and profitability, customer satisfaction, merchandising standards, store operations, and the training and development of the entire staff.

Your key accountabilities will include:

People Development / HR

* Networks, recruits, hires, develops and retains high quality management and associates to fill store profile and succession planning.
* Leads by example, trains, develops and provides ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, visual merchandising and delivering the customer experience.
* Organises weekly staff meetings to recap store performance, and to communicate new company goals and strategies, as well as new store procedures and performance targets.

Customer Experience / Sales

* Ensures an excellent level of customer service is a priority at all times by executing and achieving the Customer Experience consistently through regular assessment, coaching and follow-up with team.
* Maintains visibility and leads by example on the selling floor to answer customer questions and supports all selling functions.
* Implements all visual merchandising standards, directives, promotions, and overall cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor and stockroom.

Drive Sales & Profitability

* Meets or exceeds profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink and conversion.
* Creates and executes strategies to maximise store sales and control expenses.

Operational Effectiveness

* Controls company assets by meeting all loss prevention measures (consistent management of inventory, in- and out-bound stock movements, sales, returns, exchange, store maintenance, etc).
* Executes and complies with all company policies and store procedures.

Requirements

A passionate and experienced retailer, your background will include managing fashion retail operations and achieving optimum sales targets. Full P & L responsibility will also lie with you and therefore you will need to be comfortable managing costs and budgets and interpreting sales data to report back to management on the overall financial status of your business.
Your ability to develop, coach and mentor your team will be a critical success factor. Therefore your success at coaching others and demonstrating your ability to manage through others and deal with the ups and downs of supervising staff will be a key area we will measure. 
The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. Good verbal & written communication skills,Good command of  English (written and verbal), Strong knowledge of MS Office is a must. SAP knowledge is a plus.
