My client is a leading luxury fashion retailer in the UAE. This role will be based in Dubai.

Seeking a Store Manager for a large, multi-brand luxury fashion department store.

Job Summary/Purposes

The Store Manager is a professional in the fashion industry who has the ability to promote loyalty to customers in the luxury goods sector, in particular Top Clients and VIPs, in order to meet assigned objectives. He/she represents the Company and is a proactive Sales professional who operates according to the policies set by the Headquarters and aimed at managing Store Personnel and ensuring that the Store is efficiently run.

Responsibilities

Sales
• Is constantly up-to-date regarding fashion trends, knows and monitors competitors and communicates this information to the Staff.
• Reflects the corporate image in terms of standing and ensures that the Staff is also aligned.
• Guarantees excellent customer welcome and supervises sales to ensure customer satisfaction and that the qualitative standards required by our brand are maintained.
• Informs the Area Manager about any local events in town and about events organized by competitors.
• Reports all relevant information to the Area Manager

Customer management and CRM
• Ensures that all critical situations connected with the overall sales process and all customer complaints are dealt with and settled.
• Ensures that the network of external relations is expanded and that relations with traditional partners and prestigious people are maintained in order to promote customer loyalty, especially with Top Clients and VIPs, liaising with the Area Manager and Key Client Manager.

Store Staff
• Supports the Area Manager in the Store Staff scouting and selection process.
• Creates a work team coordinating its activities in order to constantly have motivated and competent human resources.
• Ensures professional growth and training of the staff, by constantly stimulating them to be up-to-date in the Fashion industry.
• Defines targeted quantitative and qualitative objectives and ensures they are achieved by analyzing results, verifying monthly activities and setting up yearly assessments.
• Is responsible for the Store planning, organizes and plans activities providing available resources to manage the expected workload.
• Keeps staff informed at all times regarding Store performance through the necessary tools agreed upon with the Area Manager.
• Ensures enforcement of labour laws and sales regulations with the support of the Headquarters.
• Deals with administration and accounting responsibilities.
• Makes sure that internal procedures are complied with.
• Applies all the necessary measures to ensure the safety of both Personnel and customers.

Product
• Ensures that the Store image and product care are in line with corporate standards and that the Staff is aware of this standard.

Visual Merchandising
• Is responsible, together with the In-Store Visual Merchandiser, of periodical fitouts of shop windows and interiors, which shall be implemented in compliance with the guidelines defined by the Local or HQ Visual Merchandising Department from time to time
• Evaluates, in cooperation with the In-Store Visual Merchandiser, the merchandising proposals for shop windows and interiors received from Department Managers to be submitted to the Local or HQ Visual Merchandising Department based on sales trends, seasonality, local events calendar, market peculiarities or specific customer needs.

Stockroom
• Monitors stocks, making sure that they are in line with the Store’s business potential and gives prompt feedback to the Area Manager and to the Marketing Function.
• Optimises stockroom management in order to make sure that stocks are stored as efficiently as possible in terms of sales, in collaboration with the Area Operations function.
• Takes any measures to guarantee the care of all valuable products and materials in the store, in cooperation with the Stock Manager.
• Supervises and controls all activities connected with year-end, sector and rotation stock takes by product category.
• Manages stock take activities and is responsible for the relevant results in cooperation with the Operations function.
• Ensures that the packaging and positioning of products are consistent with the protection of corporate assets.

Procedures
• Makes sure that the store surface is correctly covered and monitored in order to prevent possible thefts and losses.
• Conveys corporate policies and ensures their correct enforcement
• Liaises with the Area Manager to report and manage any loss (thefts of products, money, etc.)
• Liaises with the Area Manager to train the staff to prevent losses.
• Makes sure that security procedures are correctly applied (management of store keys, procedures connected with the management of the store safe, etc.)

Requirements

- Previous experience store management experience in the luxury fashion retail sector.

- Experience managing a large, multi-brand department store preferred.

- UAE retail experience.

- Excellent Communications skills.

- Any nationality.
