Leading Sports Retailer & Wholesaler

Qatar is booming and the retail sector is following suit. Our client, a leading sports retailer and wholesaler is currently experiencing rapid growth and is now seeking an experienced Store Manager to join their team and lead a new luxury brand for the company.
Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Achieve sales budget or forecasts.
- Maximize profits whilst controlling and minimizing costs.
- Achieve Key Performance Indicators.
- Analysis of sales figures and sales projection.
- Ensure quality standards are achieved in store presentation, operations and customer service.
- Ensure highest standard of client welcoming, handling, and servicing.
- Instil a culture of excellence in customer service.
- Ensure store execution across the area of store layouts, windows, pricing/promotions, product presentation.
- Inventory control and management.
- Manage and coordinate Sales and marketing activities.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints.
- Keep abreast of trends and competitors in the market.
- Manage and coordinate local marketing activities.
- Study and analyse the customer profile of the store.
- Recruit, train, manage and develop store team.
- Promote a challenging and professional work environment.
- Manage budgets.
- Manage shrinkage and stock loss.
- Secure company assets at all times.
- Ensure strict compliance with policies and procedures at all times.
- Ensure housekeeping, repairs and safety is maintained.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Retail Management or equivalent qualification.
- 5-7 years experience as a Store Manager for a luxury brand.
- Comprehensive understanding of fashion/retail industry.
- Prior supervising/managing experience is required.
- Strong communication, customer focus and leadership skills essential.
