Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As a Store Manager, he / she will oversee the day to day operations of all the stores under his / her command and ascertain that they are in line with policies and procedures in place. He / she will supervise retail teams and coordinate closely on the flow of activities, staff evaluation, brand performance and many other administrative functions. The Store Manager will work in line with the Retail Manager and provide necessary monthly reports and feedback. Furthermore, a Store Manager shall attend the Buying if required and focus on upgrading Customer Relations Management and brand performance.
- Conduct sales analysis, follow up on market trends and monitor the competitions activity
- Propose ways to improve the business: in store merchandising, opening hours, product mix
- Be present in the shop floor to generate sales and handling VIP customers.
- Enter all received goods and ensure stock control and proper record of all stock movements
- Prepare for the inventory.
- Identify customer potential needs and use initiatives to meet those needs
- Ensure consistency in customer service delivered and handle all complaints
- Ensure building, maintaining and using the customer database
- Prepare for the inventory.
- Coordinate with the back office, suppliers, logistics, marketing and merchandising team regards of new launches, in store animation or renovation and provide feedback accordingly
- Follow up on different issues with Mall Management such as mall promotions, permits, security
- Monitor customer movement into the shop and detect any theft or violation
- Maintain high standards of Visual Merchandising housekeeping in term of cleanness, display, lighting and stock rotation
- Can be involved in the recruitment process of Shop Staff and Sales Executives within his/her domain
- Manage, engage and delegate the responsibilities of the team reporting to him/her
- Conduct the appraisal and assessment of own team members
- Responsible for coaching and training own team members.
- Reconcile daily reports with Accounting Department

Requirements

- A University Degree preferably in Business Administration or Marketing
- 4 to 5 years of previous experience handling the same role managing a Luxury fashion brand
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a big team, diplomatic and self-confident
- Ability to plan and deliver communications in an impacting, persuasive and tactful way
- Ability to check processes and tasks accurately and to ensure high quality standards and output
- Ability to build and maintain positive and effective relationships
- Strong communicator in both Arabic and English
- Candidate must be residing currently in Kuwait
