RequirementsRequirementsPrincipal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas: • Customer Experience: The Store Manager is ultimately responsible for each customer’s experience whilst in the store. You will need to ensure every detail of the store reflects the du brand values. • Sales: You will be targeted with leading a team of sales professionals to achieve their individual targets. You and your team will deal directly with the store’s customers, helping them select products, convincing them to buy and offering the highest quality of customer service. • Financial Management: Responsible for achieving the stores Profit and Loss Targets, efficient auditing and reporting. • Leadership and Team Management: You will lead, coach, mentor and recruit the team, giving them direction, advice and support. All store employees will report to you, so you will be responsible for developing the individuals within that team through a structured performance and development programme. • Presentation: Accountable for the store’s appearance and presentation, you will be targeted with maintaining an excellent reputation for the store and wider brand in the local community. •Administration: You will be accountable for the store’s efficient administration and smooth operation, including adherence to company wide processes and procedures. These will include internal reporting to Regional Sales Managers, controlling stock levels and in-store marketing campaigns. Experience: At least two years previous retail experience is essential. Previous line management and back office POS system experience is highly desirable. Eligibility Criteria • Read and write English fluently (Some of our recruits will be required to speak Arabic, or Hindi, but these are not essential requirements) • Fit, healthy and physically capable of being on your feet all day • A presentable and professional appearance • Friendly, enthusiastic and passionate attitude. • A generally good level of familiarity with computers and technology. For example being able to surf the internet, operate mobile phones, send/receive emails and use Microsoft Office. |
