Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Leading and managing the store operation in order to deliver the highest standards of customer service and to maximize sales and profitability in line with Organization's objectives.

- Responsible for the inventory, maintenance and external appearance of the store.
- Develop and implement store operating plans, policies and procedures in line with the organization branding in order to achieve sales' targets and profitability's objectives.
- Ensure that the brand integrity is maintained throughout the store and implemented to the brand standards and guidelines.
- Ensure accurate knowledge of brand performance, best sellers and stock levels to assist in generating ideas and action plans to increase overall sales.
- Leading the store team as well as managing the day to day operations.
- Manage performance of store's employees (setting goals and objectives, developing and motivating employees).
- Manage annual allocated budget by managing expenditure up to set limits, optimising cost, utilize resources and ensure effective implementation of cost management in the store.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with external suppliers and all departments in the organization in order to support the smooth operation of the store.
- Ensure the stock is effectively measured, controlled and managed in compliance with organizational stock management procedures.
- Manage order placement/requisitioning activities in order to maximise sales and meet stock performance objectives.
- Ensure all ranges are effectively merchandised in line with brand image and standards.
- Ensure cash management policies and procedures are followed and cash registers are accurately reconciled.
- Solve critical store operational problems including customers complaints, in order to ensure operational effectiveness and to increase customers satisfaction.
- Coordinate regularly with brand manager and other store managers in order to understand ongoing brand activities and developments.
- Produce management information reports on store performance in order to ensure that brand manager has the relevant information needed to support operational decision-making.

Requirements

- University degree.
- 3 - 4 years of experience in a managerial position.
- Previous experience in fashion retail.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of store operating procedures.
- Strong people management and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Arabic native speaker. Fluent in written and spoken English.
- PC literate - MS Office applications
