The RoleThe RoleObjective: The objectives of this position are to manage branch operations and customer support for quality service, customer satisfaction and profitability. Supervise, lead and direct the activities of branch personnel. Ensures that the company guidelines and policies are understood and followed and he will be responsible for improving branch sales volume, profits, meeting and exceeding budgets targets and maintaining gross margins. Responsibilities: •Maintains a high level of customer service by creating a shopping environment which welcomes the customer. Handles all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all customers. •Supervises the unloading of products and medicines, sorting of merchandise, stocking of shelves, re-merchandising and preparing the reconciliation of all cash and inventory transactions. •Manages stock level at the store and supervising the re-ordering process. •Coach, train and develop retail staff, set performance goals and provide feedback. Set goals for sales, service environments, and take proactive role in establishing and carrying out shrinkage control disciplines. Accepts high level of responsibility for branch shrinkage performance. •Executes merchandise floor moves to drive sales. •Determines and distributes work assignments to ensure maintenance, cleanliness and branch appearance is up to company standard. •Ensures all paperwork is processed within a timely manner according to company guidelines. Follows up on receiving discrepancies, expired, damage good and damage claims. •Ensures branch level compliance with company standards of safety, security, maintenance and other administrative duties. •Prepares and conducts performance appraisals for staff. Take appropriate disciplinary action on employees including making recommendations for promotion or termination in accordance with company guidelines. •Ensures price accuracy, using POS Price Accuracy Report and random branch price audits. •Executes and documents merchandise returns and inter-branch transfers. •Performs other branch duties as needed to ensure smooth operations to meet customer needs. |
RequirementsRequirements•The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required. Position may require on-call availability seven days a week. Ability to branch hours and work evenings and or weekends as needed. Work schedule varies each week and includes working nights and weekends. Self-motivator with strong communication, organizational and leadership required. •Must have initiative and the desire to grow the business. •Minimum of 3-5 years retail experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated managerial skills required |
