Job description / Role

JOB PURPOSE:
- To performs warehouse transactions and operations; receipt, dispatch, storage, and issuing of materials and equipment in the correct quantities, quality and condition as requisitioned, in accordance with established procedures and standards.
- The post holder is responsible for losses and damage and takes adequate precautions to ensure inventory value is safeguarded.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Performs the receipt, dispatch, and storage of materials and equipment to ensure that it is received and distributed in the correct quantities, quality and
condition as requisitioned, according to established procedures and standards.
- Undertakes all general material handling duties & Site deliveries.
- Responsible for material checks prior to receipt and issue.
- Carries out stuffing and de-stuffing of containers.
- Undertakes routine clerical work specific to dept.

Effective Communication: Interfaces with internal and external customers.

Health, Safety and Environment: Ensures safety of co-workers and equipment through compliance with company procedures.

Requirements

- At least High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience in an Oil & Gas Sector in Warehousing environment.
- Acquainted with ERP Warehouse management systems.
- SAP experience would be an advantage.
- Adaptability to multicultural workforce.
- Drivers license.
