Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

My client, a leading multinational agency in Abu Dhai requires a bilingual (Arabic) Strategy Planner to join their team.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understand brand and marketing strategy as well as business issues across Clients.
- Formulate strategies or suggest feasible recommendations or improvements to business plans, policies and procedures with a view to optimize near-term growth.
- Help establish the long-term direction of a Clients brand - basic steps include assessing the gaps and trends, defining the mission and vision, identifying priorities and objectives.
- Understand industry sources of information as well as research - consumer psychology and behaviour, brand-sales history, competitive sales and customer information, consumer demographics, etc. -; commission and/or brief market analysis initiatives.
- Identify knowledge gaps and training requirements.
- Ensure consumers/customers perspective is fully considered when advertising brief is developed.
- Focus and re-focus the Agencys strategic and creative thinking on the consumer/customer, helping the team - particularly creatives - understand what "turns the consumer/customer on".
- Offer not only consumer insight, but also a plan of action for marketing communications challenges.

Requirements

- Exhibit an ability to create inspirational and cohesive solutions for the Clients business.
- Able to interpret Client briefs and grasp the strategic issues.
- Present creative and strategic work with inspiration and professionalism.
- Collaborate with other team members in formulating and presenting strategic initiatives.
- Be proactive in working closely with relevant teams internally and externally; desire and ability to demonstrated initiative.
- Ability to engender confidence and exercise good judgment in handling data.
- Solid oral and written communication skills (including the ability to draft understandable, clear and consistent documents on topics within the areas of responsibility).
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, organize priorities and meet deadlines.
- We are looking for somebody with minimum 4 years planning experience within a multinational agency.
