Job description / Role
An excellent opportunity with one of the Oil & Gas Operator based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Scope of Duties:
- Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises the Strategic Planning & Organizational Development Department activities to ensure company long-term strategic production plans are met in terms of growth and economic returns.
- Reviews the overall refining optimization and the economic evaluation of crude products.
- Provides necessary support to Marketing & Refining Directorate for determining cost of production and selling price for refinery products.
- Provides support to Company's Management in review and analysis of various refinery economic issues.
- Drives the development of Company's Business Plan guidelines, and ensures that the resulting work programme is consistent with Company's objectives and guidelines.
- Provides professional advice and recommendations related to the Business Planning and Budgeting process to senior management.
- Produces, develops and continuously improves the monthly Corporate Activity Report. Provides senior management with follow-up on the achievement of long term planning objectives, work programmes and targets.
- Produces reports, aide-memoire and presentations to Board of Directors and Management Committees.
- Provides economic and technical analysis and prepares studies and reports on critical issues as required by senior management.
- Reviews all new Finance Proposals (Capex and Opex) and provides senior management with recommendations/guidelines on amendments and approvals.
- Manages, directs and controls the selection and implementation of technical and non-technical organizational development programs for improvement of performance across all divisions of the company.
- Manages, directs and controls the preparation and modification of Key Performance Indicators and KPI cascades to enable line management at all levels to better monitor performance of the company.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- 12 years experience in Refining Industry of which 6 years should have been at a senior supervisory level.
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literate.
