Job description / Role
Senior Procurement Advisor required for a 12 month engagement with a Multinational Strategy Consulting firm based in Jeddah, KSA. The role relates to a specific engagement with an established Contracting company in Jeddah. My client has been tasked with improving operational in efficiencies across all areas of the business.
One key area that has been identified is the procurement section. Hence they are seeking a senior individual with both international and substantial Saudi experience to setup, standardize and implement best practices within the procurement division. Whilst the initial commitment is only 12 months there is an extremely high probability that well performing candidates will be employed on a permanent basis thereafter. The role requires excellent communication, relationship management and project management skills and can offer an extremely lucrative tax free salary, for top tier individuals.
Requirements
1) The ideal candidate should be a senior procurement manager who has more than 15+ years of experience with a contracting company (construction)
2) Should be highly comfortable with analytical analysis around procurement such as spend analysis
3) They should have strong negotiation skills
4) Experience in Saudi Arabia is a big advantage
5) He should have experience in implementing procurement policies and procedures
