Strategy Business Analyst

Job description / Role

A Strategy Business Analyst is a member of a project team who takes direction in documenting systems or business processes/change management, and provides support on a variety of business and industry specialties. A Senior Business Analyst applies basic consulting principles and begins to develop the ability to work independently on project tasks. This position has contact with operational level members of the client staff.

Responsibilities may include:
- Organizes and prepares business documentation in support of implementation of new business processes/procedures.
- Applies Delivery Framework methodologies to work.
- Gathers and organizes data, makes basic analysis guided by more senior team members.
- Supports business development and proposal efforts by assisting with the development of written material and/or developing cost proposals.
- Supports, and may contribute directly to, engagement financial management activities.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, with team members, clients and counterparts.
- Manages own time and expenses involved in work.
- Contributes to and/or delivers products that drive client satisfaction, builds trusted relationship to his/her level peers in the client side.
- Builds personal expertise in a business area.
- Supports own Performance Management Process (goals, reviews, engagement reviews, career development).

Requirements

- Master's Degree with 1-3 years relevant work experience from consulting or relevant industry.
- Working knowledge of at least 1-2 government sectors.
- Basic understanding of the operating model design and development dimensions such as services, organization, process, IT architecture and physical operating facilities.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and information processing and development skills.
- Excellent MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Working experience in a team environment and the ability to multi-task while producing quality deliverables.
- Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English language skills.
