Job description / Role
We are working on behalf of a very reputed multinational cement manufacturer - Alsafwa Cement Company (A Lafarge Company) . This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analysis and Strategy Management Professionals in the infrastructure and/or real estate market.
Working very closely with the Sales and Marketing Director, you will be mainly responsible for prioritizing, developing and providing refresh key business strategies.
You will be responsible for establishing and leading the strategy function for our client's business unit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and report trends in the housing and infrastructure market.
- Analyze relevant data such as competitive information, industry trends, and historical performance to develop sound forecasts in support of plans.
- Identifies and analyzes possible strategic alliances, local acquisitions and opportunities for licensing-in in close coordination with other functions.
- Leads the adhoc negotiation team and serves as primary negotiator to put in place the appropriate contracts.
- Leads and coordinates Business Development projects, ensures the commitment of Management and all concerned functions; conduct feasibility studies for the projects, develops roll-out plans, secures timelines.
- Lead the management of change through continuous improvement of processes and policies.
- Identify resources, including systems requirements needed to build and maintain the strategies.
- Build a strong understand of social and economic changes in the Saudi Markets relevant to building material sector.
- Analyze financial reports and revenue plans.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business with a major of Economics or Finance
- Masters Degree is preferred.
- 5 - 8 years experience with at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Proven track record of the ability to negotiate work in a multi cultural environment.
- Experience and/or strong knowledge of the housing and infrastructure market is an advantage.
- Knowledge of valuation techniques and feasibility studies.
- Ability to understand and apply data analytical tools.
- Experience in strategic and business planning.
- PC Skills: Power point, excel and word is mandatory.
- Strong presentation and persuasive skills.
