Employment: Full Time

A Strategy Manager is responsible for the management of several small projects or one medium size project. This position manages client relationships for his/her project and has frequent and direct contact with senior-level managers to provide business or technical expertise and project direction.

A Manager takes ownership for developing an account / client relationship. He/she leads identifying and developing opportunities for the account. A Manager also runs proposal/sales efforts and closing of select opportunities. A Manager is also involved in creating approval and execution of the statement of work. A Manager is responsible for management of his/her staff, including participating in recruiting efforts, identifying staff development needs and performance management. In addition, this position is responsible for project financial management, including the achievement of revenue, profitability and cash management goals.

Responsibilities may include:
- Managing client relationship, expectations and continuing client relationships at all levels, builds trusted relationship to the client middle and higher management. Identify new opportunities and develop them to be closed sales.
- Managing multiple small engagements or a single medium size project, including preparation of work plans, contracts and budgets, as well as managing project teams and client relations, and overseeing preparation of project deliverables.
- Managing project financials to ensure that projects fall within budget and meet financial metrics; ensuring timely and accurate preparation of invoices and collections.
- Participating in recruiting and developing individual staff to build a talented and stable cadre of professional staff.
- Preparing performance appraisals, building career development plans and setting goals for his or her staff.
- Participating in market analysis, including identification of new or follow-on opportunities and/or new markets; preparing marketing and/or capture plans; and qualifying specific opportunities.
- Identifying and closing add-on sales opportunities.
- Leading preparation of qualification packages, managing proposal development, including project scoping, proposal approach, staffing plan, and pricing for small or medium size engagements.
- Supporting development of financial plans by providing projections of project revenue, sales, bookings and staff utilization.
- Supporting achievement of groups financial targets, through sound project execution, management of non-charge, business development, bid and proposal budgets, and management of staff utilization.

Requirements

- Master's Degree with 5-10 years relevant work experience from consulting and/or industry.
- Experience for managing several medium size consulting and development projects with direct staff of 5-10 persons.
- Ability to sell, plan, design engagement approach and manage projects in structured and procedural manner.
- Ability to guide and supervise analysis work, ability to make informed decisions effectively
- Demonstrated working knowledge of related industry, domain, or functional business solutions in a project manager and solution architect capacity from two or more of the following.
- Government (1-3 government sectors).
- Strategy and operating model definition and design (services, organization, process, IT architecture and physical operating facilities).
- IT Solution definition, design, procurement and project management.
- Supply chain and operations development.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and information processing and development skills.
- Demonstrates ability to lead in a multi-team environment and to steer the content creation of the key deliverables.
- Ability to initiate contacts with prospective clients, build client relationship and identify sales opportunities and develop these into engagement contracts.
- Ability to build trusted client relationship with the client middle / senior management
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to explain complex concepts and solutions.
- Excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; Access preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Recognized internally for management or functional expertise in target industry and/or solution.
- Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English language skills.
