Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The role is responsible for leading the strategic planning process which includes identifying high-opportunity markets, adjacencies, and/or segments and assist in planning for the organization's market entree and success. This requires a thorough assessment of customer and market requirements, new and existing technologies, current strategies, branding and/or licensing opportunities and targets. This individual must be able to analyze long-term market trends, customer needs, and competitive strategies in order to develop a business strategy that ensures long-term success. The position involves strong interaction with external customers, Lines of Business, technology, business development for pipeline management and other strategic marketing leaders.

This role will work closely with the Middle East (or Turkey, Russia etc) Corporate Strategic Marketing / Business Development team to ensure alignment of overall strategies as well as collaborate with the Middle East Strategic Marketing team to develop business / market analysis and share best practices and relevant insights

- Develop high impact strategies
- See trends and the big picture, and link them to business strategy
- Align functional strategies with business strategy for implementation
- Understanding of microeconomics and financial concepts and link them to business strategy
- Research and Analysis- design and execute impactful market research studies, devise conclusions and provide actionable recommendations to the business
- Strategy and Planning- integrate inputs (market, customer, competitor, macro trends, technology, financial, etc) to develop distinctive strategic options with outstanding financial outcomes
- Value Management- design Voice of Customer, understand segmentation, target value propositions to customer segments, develop go to market strategies
- Brand Management- understands via research and experience, value of brand to customers, position of brand versus competition.
- Channel Management- understand channel economics and dynamics, demand planning
- Brand licensing
- Strategic pricing

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in an engineering field
- MBA or equivalent qualification
- Domain experience in ELV products / technologies
- Strategic mind set with problem solving and pragmatic, result driven attitude
- Very strong influencing and teamwork skills to drive people and promote his initiatives
- Analytical thinking and execution excellence
