Strategy and Policy Consultant - Dubai

Our client, a growing government entity, is seeking a Strategy and Policy consultant to join the team. Reporting to the Director, this individual will contribute to the economic development of client industry sectors through providing analytical and research support on a project-led basis.

To be suitable for this role you must be fluent in Arabic.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Collect data on economic performance of the client industry sectors from a wide range of complex and difficult data sources drawn from internal and external sources.
* Conduct desk-top research on industry and market trends and regulatory environment.
* Perform quantitative analysis to uncover the insights that support recommendations for economic development strategy and complex policy development projects.
* Capture key data and insights for the assigned topics of investigation using analytical tools such as excel and produce summary of findings for internal audiences using visual presentations, reports etc.
* Present data, insights and emerging conclusion at internal team meetings.
* Create and maintain a map of knowledge sources to support project teams in obtaining required data.
* Engage and build effective relationships with information providers within and external to the organisation.
* Project coordination-This includes arranging and attending meetings, taking minutes and maintaining project documentation.
* Manage the timely planning, organising and execution of assigned work streams
* Manage working relationships with project stakeholders and support the director in liaising with external stakeholders.
* Communicate across relevant departments and with outsource partners to ensure smooth information flow so that issues are resolved in an efficient and timely manner.
* Ensure all functional reports are prepared timely and accurately in compliance with the client's requirements, policies and standards.

Requirements

* A Bachelors degree preferably in an analytical subject.
* Minimum 2 years experience in an analytical role in a multi-disciplinary organisation.
* Strong research and analytical skills and experience using analytical tools.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
