Job description / Role
KEO International Consultants is a world ranked and leading Architectural, Engineering, and Project and Construction Management Firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic Structural CAD to join our Design Division in Dubai. In this role you will be responsible for producing accurate Structural Design drawings for all aspects of the assigned projects from concept drawing stage to construction stage drawings.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
• Proven ability in the development and preparation of engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.
• Experience in coordinating construction design with construction management team, assisting with issues or permitting and city codes for commercial/institutional building and site design.
• Working knowledge of international drawing standards and symbols and ensuring QA/QC procedures and standards are maintained.
• Familiarity with Auto CAD software packages: Auto CAD and Auto Desk as well as experience with software packages such as Revit Structure and ETABS.
Requirements
A recognized drafting Diploma in one of the disciplines indicated above plus a minimum of 5 years relevant CAD experience. A University degree would be a beneficial.
Previous experience gained within a Consultancy Firm and within the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
