Job description / Role
Working as a Structural Engineer within KEO’s Design Division, you will be working with a team of engineers in the analysis and design of structures for tall towers, commercial, mixed use, hospitality and residential building projects.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
• Proven ability to work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects.
• Assisting in coordination of structural design information with requirements of other disciplines.
• Assisting in the selection of viable alternative structural concepts.
• Comprehension of the principles of structural analysis and strong design experience in structural concrete/steelwork.
• Prior design experience with various structural design codes such as ACI and AISC.
• Proven ability to work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects.
• Ability to work in a team environment, high energy, fast-paced, detail-oriented, professional approach with a positive attitude.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software, including, Revit Structure, ETABS, SAFE, SAP and STAAD.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years of structural design experience.
Previous experience gained within a Consultancy Firm and within the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
Proficiency in using structural BIM Software such as Revit Structure is essential.
