Structural Design Engineer

Job description / Role

A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced structural design engineer, with strong Revit skills to join their team in Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities:
- Undertaking structural engineering design and analysis
- Must have very strong Revit skills
- Leading and developing junior engineers
- Producing structural calculations
- Attend and give input in team design meetings
- Have the ability to review design works undertaken by colleagues and 3rd parties
- Carry out structural surveys
- Direct CAD technicians to produce all project drawings

Requirements

- Must have BA/BSc in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Experience in the design of buildings, commercial and mixed-use projects
- Design to international standards
- Experience in taking a project from conceptual design all the way through to hand over
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to lead junior members of staff
