Structural Design Engineer

Job description / Role

Our client is an established European contracting company that has 50 years' experience operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They are one of the largest contractors in Saudi Arabia, with a large portfolio of projects ongoing and planned in the future. Currently they need Structural Design Engineers for a multibillion dollar hospital project, and a military base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Knowledge of structural design software.
- Able to do structural design and analysis (BS & ACI) for multiple discipline buildings.
- Able to do coordination with Arch & MEP works.
- Able to prepare detailed CAD drawing.
- Assist Sr. Civil Engineer (Structures) in raising technical queries where information conflict exists or is missing, and act on responses.
- Depending on job, will work with design team or technical team.

Requirements

Requirements:

- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CONTRACTORS.
- Arabic speakers preferred.
- Previous structural design experience.
- Has 7-10 years experience in similar positions.
- Civil engineering or structural Engineering degree.
- Transferable Iqama for candidates currently employed in KSA.
