Structural Engineer – Underground Carpark

Job description / Role

Parsons International are currently seeking a Structural Engineer for a major underground parking project in Doha.

Responsibilities for this role will include (not limited to);

Reviewing and analysing configurations of structural components of underground parking structure
Calculating the structural integrity of the project and assesing safety against all environmental issues
Working alongside designers and architects, to work out the safest designs and offering solutions to best put these into practice.
Examining structures at risk of collapse and advising how to improve their structural integrity.
Investigating and assessing ground conditions at site

Requirements

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering with 12 years experience in infrastructure projects such as underground car parking, roads, highways, bridges, intersections, tunnels. Preferred candidates with experience in the Gulf region.

Good oral and written English language, with good report writing, analytical and computer skills.
