Job description / Role
Structural Engineer - Dubai, UAE
This position performs a variety of structural engineering design for buildings. This includes design in structural steel, reinforced and pre-stressed concrete.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Under general supervision from a senior engineer, applies standard engineering analysis and design procedures using a variety of proprietary software (including SAFE and ETABS) and with a good understanding of a variety of design codes, generate calculations and design outputs to be incorporated in design drawings.
- Ensure good quality and timely submission of technical deliverables.
- With additional experience, the individual is expected to attain a high degree of proficiency is areas of design including assorted materials, design codes and software.
- Work closely with other engineering professionals and technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 3 to 6 years experience.
- Graduate member of approved Engineering Institute, working towards full membership.
- Previous experience in the Middle East preferred.
- Knowledge of BIM (Revit etc.) an advantage.
