Job description / Role
On behalf of our client we are currently recruiting for a Studio Manager to be based in Dubai for a well known Retail company that deals with Luxury Fashion. This position will be directly reporting to the Head of E-Commerce and will function under the E-Commerce Division. This role will act as the primary liaison between the photo studio and the other departments.
This position will be in-charge of Managing the Photography Studio including all the necessary equipment and people, like leading the team in regard to Team Building and Training as well as Coaching and Recruitment. He or she must be able to deliver a high volume of Accurate, Appealing, and Aesthetic product photographs every week to be uploaded on to the Companys transactional website. In- charge of overall management of the Photography Studio like Equipment, Props, Stock, and Supplies, produce Editorial Photography for marketing when required; Cope with Seasonal Peaks in the product photograph productions based on delivery cycles and Ensure no more than 3 % of images are reshot per week. Planning , communicating and monitoring photography production schedules on a day to day basis and ensure timely delivery of weekly product photography production targets are also a part of the essential responsibilities of this position.
Requirements
Ideal Candidates for this position must have a Bachelors Degree or any Diploma or Certification related to this field. He or she must also have at least 2 years relevant experience in the same role working for a company that falls under the High End Fashion industry category. Candidates with experience in the GCC Region or the UAE are highly preferred for this role. Having a high technical background in Photography and Managing a Team is also a must for this role. Essential:
Bachelors Degree, Diploma or any other related Certifications
Must have at least 2 years experience working in the same role for the same industry
Must be highly proficient in using Adobe Packages, specially Adobe Photoshop
Must have a keen attention to details
Must have strong and proven Administration Skills
Must be Highly Organized with keen Attention to Details
Must have a GCC and or UAE Experience
Must be fluent in English
Must be willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE
Must have a presentable image that could represent the company
Desirable:
Anglophone, European and Arab Nationals
Bilingual Speakers (Any European Language, and or Arabic)
Must be immediately available
